Change your garden, Change your diet?

I love hearing from happy EasyBloomers. I recently talked to Cindy, who also lives in San Francisco. She wanted to grow basil Basil

but found out from her EasyBloom that her yard didn’t get enough sun for Basil to grow. This is sadly, fairly common in foggy San Francisco. Most vegetables and herbs need at least six hours of sun (and maybe more!) to thrive.

However, Cindy discovered she could grow sage sage AND thyme thyme These are two herbs that can prosper in less light, as shown by her EasyBloom.

It’s a year later, and Cindy says not only has her sage and thyme grown wonderfully, her cooking has changed! Now that she has access to fresh herbs, she’s making different dishes.

What have been your EasyBloom surprises?

Here come the trees!

The PlantSense office is in sunny San Francisco. Sunny, that is, except for all the foggy days. Left to it’s own, San Francisco would be one gigantic sand dune. Luckily for us, people have been planting trees for decades now, trying to give San Francisco a more leafy look. How drab San Francisco would look without it’s trees can be vividly shown in this photo series of San Francisco 70 years ago, and San Francisco now. Our office is within two blocks of the areas shown!

… for all of you that purchased the original EasyBloom

Since we launched EasyBloom Plus last week, we’ve received a number of people that just purchased our original EasyBloom wondering what was up? Would it still work?

The Answer is Yes!!! absolutely. The only feature that the original EasyBloom doesn’t support is fertilizer sensing. Other than that the two products are the same.
