Hi- We use zipcode for local growing zones, climate, hourly weather and instantaneous solar position. If you are not in the United States, your sensor will NOT WORK. It's not acceptable to substitute a "similar" zipcode, as this will not take into account growing zones, and most importantly your sun readings will be wrong. Sorry, but currently EasyBloom ONLY WORKS IN THE UNITED STATES. Edith
Technical Help » Soil Moisture
HI Holly- When you look at the "Plant View" tab, what does your data look like? If it's moist, you should clearly see it there. If on the Plant View it says "no data", it means you're not connecting the soil sensor properly. Hope this helps Edith
EasyBloom has capacity for ~3 weeks. If you record for 36 hours, we'll collect more data. For a "monitor" reading, you should leave the EasyBloom on until the plant needs water (depending on the plant, 3 days to 3 weeks).
General Gardening » Rain?
Hi Amy- The EasyBloom is water-resistant, and you can leave it outside. However, if you have a sprinkler many sprinkler jets emit horizontal streams of pressurized water that can potentially penetrate the air intake's protective membrane and damage the sensor's circuitry.
