If it will help your product team gain insight to customer interests, I'd have to strongly agree with Laura that such data is very valuable. In an earlier comment on another post, I noted that it's very hard to interpret data with vague terms such as "full sun." How do I know how that compares with the recommendations for individual plants I'm looking at? If you're looking for beta sites for your "graphs with significantly more information", sign me up!

Have you considered partnering with local growers other than burpee to incorporate plant databases? For example in the Bay Area wholesalers such as Annie's Annuals and Perennials has a fabulous online database of plants, but what I don't know is whether my "full sun" location is the "full sun" Annie's Annuals expects.

Team, Good work! I just took delivery of my plant stake and it worked on my Windows XP system flawlessly. I didn't read any of the documentation and only glanced at it after I had my stake in the ground. I think that's a sign of a well designed product. That said... kudos to your docs team, the material looks "mah-velous" and seemed logically arranged given the way I used it right out of the box. I expect to be back examining LEDs and such. A question I couldn't find answered when I *did* look at the docs and the web site: Is it possible to add my own plants to "My EasyBloom?" I haven't been able to wait the 24 hours for my first reading, perhaps it's obvious when I connect the sensor. Looks to me that your Plant Library is a tad limited (occupational hazard when you set about documenting plants). I'd like to be able to add my own plants and readings, add pictures, monitor growth with multiple pictures and the like. Any options for that? Uh, while I'm asking.... Any option for exporting the database so that I can use it elsewhere? I'd like to have to .xls or some standard format. What about importing a database I just might already have (okay, so I need a little help remembering this stuff master gardeners seem to keep in their heads.) Thanks very much. And three cheers for a great start. Regards, Tientown.
