Jim, the EasyBloom Plant Sensor (and the Plant Doctor page) will give you feedback based on the horticultural needs of the plant you've selected to monitor - not neighboring plants. Sorry of this was unclear! We may look into adding the ability to change plants for a given reading as a feature in a future release, as this has been requested by a number of users.
