A tip from our Plant Doctor, Dr. Robby Flannery: Jade plants, like many succulents, can easily be propagated from cuttings. They can be put directly in soil, but I would allow them to callous over first. Place the excised leaf or stem of the Jade plant in a cool, fairly dark, dry area for a couple of days. This will allow the wound to callous and therefore be more resistant to microbial infection. Once the wound has calloused over, place it in some soil so that the wound is completely covered by the soil and unexposed to light. The cutting should root at this point. Keep the soil moist, but never let it get completely soaked.
General Gardening » Firmware Upgrade Issue?
Hi Rona, That's a valid point. At this time, however, not all firmware upgrade issues are identical and thus are not all resolved using the same method. For all issues whose resolutions can be posted on this forum, I am happy to do so (and have done so with a few issues). Otherwise, I request all inquiries be directed to us via email. The main purpose of this forum is for users to interact with each other (this will be more clear in the future, when we have defined categories). There's no problem with users voicing their frustrations; however, our support staff does not monitor these forums as closely as we monitor our emails. For this reason I recommend the course of action mentioned (using our contact form). Regards, Noam / EasyBloom Support

General Gardening » A real disappointment!!!
Hi Patti, I sent you an email last Thursday regarding this issue. For quickest response time, please send us an email via our Support page. The most common reasons you might not get results are a) forgetting to set the sensor to Recommend or Monitor mode, b) forgetting to push the Start button to begin the reading, and c) a dead or dying battery. I look forward to hearing from you! Regards, Noam / EasyBloom Support
Hi Patricia, there certainly is a way to filter indoor plants. On the right side of the page you should see a list of all available filter criteria. In the first category, Plant Type, choose Interior Plant. This will filter out all plants not suited for indoor plantings. If you have any further questions about our site, please feel free to contact us via our Support contact form for best response time.

General Gardening » Citrus please!
Hi Larame, In addition to Key lime, we also currently have lemon, Meyer lemon, tangerine, sweet orange, and grapefruit in our database: http://www.easybloom.com/main/plantlibrarysearch?uq=Citrus&ubS=go . If I'm not mistaken, lemon trees have very similar requirements to those of lime trees. I will confirm with our botany team and forward your request for lime to be added. Thanks for helping us expand our database! In the future, we recommend sending us an email to the plant request mailbox, for quickest results. This link can be found when you search for a plant that is not found in our database. Cheers, Noam / EasyBloom Customer Support
