Feature Ideas » Accurate readings?
Hi Robby, is there anyway to try a preview of the tool to predict the sun in the different seasons? i live next to a slope with a house on top. I see that the in the summer the sun goes higher than the house so i get full sun all day long, but in the winter the sun stays behind the house and easybloom report my yard as shade. I am deciding which plants to put in my yard, but without considering the change of sun through the seasons, easybloom can suggest only plants for shade which they'll die as soon as the summer sun hits them.
is there anyway to change the interval of reading? Easy bloom is pretty good, but it would be nice to be able to manipulate the amount of data captured and how the data is utilized.
Hello, it would be great if i could add plants that are not in the database. I have a discksonia antartica and a cyathea cooperi, which are not present in the database but i do know what are the requirements for this plants. It would be nice if you offer an interface to add my plants as a customized plant to my plant. To customize the plant users could provide the plants moisture requirements, temperature requirements, sun requirements etc... for their specific zone. This should be a pretty easy add.
Feature Ideas » add a wind sensor
It would be good if among the data captured there would be also the amount of wind that hits the plant. I have plants that i try to protect from wind and end up with windburn, but sometimes it is very hard to understand if a location gets windy.
Easy bloom is great if the plat is short. For tall plants or trees, it would be good to measure sun where the plant capture light and not at the roots. My guess that inside the sun sensor there might be a cheap photoresistor, so it would be good if the top of the easy bloom could detach and stay connected to the base via an electrical wire. Then the top could be attached with a clip to the part of the plant that need to get the light.
