Actual Environmental Data

I would have to agree with the others. The graphs are very limiting as the axies are not labeled and are too small to see in detail. I realize that you are trying to keep the data presentation simple. however by doing this you are limiting the usefulness of a great tool by doing this. Being a scientist (analytical chemist) I am used to correlating data and I am very disappointed in how the collected data is presented. Regards, Rick

I am right there with everyone else in this thread. I'm a physics undergrad, and analyzing data is basically my life. I'd really like to be able to collect that data myself, instead of viewing a basic analysis. Especially since I live in the Arizona desert, and our extreme environment can make it difficult to grow. Warm and green regards! -Todd

I agree with everyone else-- I'd like to be able to access all the raw data, and export the data in different formats. This thing has great promise but isn't there yet. I'd like to be able to set up different location profiles and link multiple readings to one location, and then compare and average readings from different dates for rainfall, sun, etc., and compare this to averages for my region. Without this i'm not sure how the sensor could give an accurate outdoor recommendation, unless I happened to put it out on an absolutely typical day. And why does it have two different modes for monitor and recommend? it seems like it's collecting the same data on the front end-- I don't see why I can't choose one of those two modes after the fact. I also think that the sensor would work better if it had wi-fi to transmit the readings back to my computer without having to bring it back inside. i know this would consume more battery power, but it would only have to do it once a day, and it could transmit a message to the computer if the battery was running low. if i could do that i would be tempted to by more than one to keep them in multiple locations.

I have to concur that this information would be very helpful. I understand the desire of the product team to keep the presentation simple. But if you think about it, the kind of person who is likely to buy this product is someone who *wants* to see the data. We bought it specifically for that purpose. Also, I want to use a number or local native plants that are not in the database and I need to know the more specific information to compare against the info provided by my county master gardeners.
