HI Davide Currently, we capture in 15 minutes intervals. We use the data for our algorithms. This is an interesting idea, how would you like to utilize the data differently? Thanks Edith

Hi Brian- What sort of information are you interested in? Thanks Edith
Hi Edith, I too would like the raw data. Is there a way to export it to an Excel spreadsheet or some MS Access mdb file? I'm also interested in the scaling for the data. Temp, moisture and light units. It only has to be the units for each sensor. I'm not really interested in using it for plant section of problem solving. I want to use it for data collection for climit. Thanks Paul Holowko www.gardeningrhythms.com
I would love access to the raw data. It would be even better if you provided an API to interact with the device. I love my sensor and I think people give that level of access could develop all sorts of interesting uses for the easy bloom. Its a wonderful little device and I think the open source community could really get inventive with it. One thing that I think would be nice to be able to do is to publish a summary of the data elsewhere, ie on my own blog. Which is something I could easily write if I had access to the data.

I would ALSO like access to raw data, at least. At worst, it would be nice to change the scale so you can compare 1 day of choosing to another (for another plant reading). It would be awesome to at least take a data average for a day (among a few readings) to compare to one day (of a few readings) for another plant - to effectively compare average day to average day of two different plants (or more!!)
I also would like to have access to some type of data. I bought several these sensors to use in our Elementary/Middle school garden. I was interested in having the students monitor different parts of the garden to compare microclimates, seasonal differences in light intensity, the effect of mulching around plants, sandy vs clay vs high organic soil drying rates. But I find the web only, print to compare two graphs output clunky to use and less useful as a learning tool than I had hoped. I understand the need to protect proprietary algorithms. Even though it is not ideal, I would even settle for output that gave date, time, temperature and then moisture and sun intensity data with only relative (1-20 for moisture, 1 to 100 for sun) units, just so the student could use a spreadsheet to create their own graphs to compare and drawl conclusions.

Jennifer, I'd like nothing more than to support your efforts with your students. 1) I love that you all are using EasyBloom to learn, compare, and focus on plant health - YEA!! 2) It's super helpful for me when you explain your exact need and plans. As we build out such an improvement, we can't do it well without knowing exactly how folks plan to use it. So while I must say we that you're right, we don't have a more helpful data format or interface to use for comparison now, your post and articulate request helps keep it as one of our short listed improvement areas. Thanks for your interest and patience. If you or the kids have additional questions or comments, feel free to email me directly at laurel@plantsense.com. I'm the Director of Product Management and hearing directly from real users, all kinds - is incredibly valuable for me. THANK YOU!
