Hey Laura,
I vote for a Windows Phone 7 app..
(note: the following is based on the plantsmart.easybloom.com pages)
As far as requirements go..
Access to EasyBloom account (it seems like the plantsmart one is separate? It would be nice to access whatever account you have)
My Readings area including Plant Doctor, Plant View, Plant Care, Recommendations and Notes. I know I’ve already had a time when I would have liked to compare Plant Doctor & Plant View data with another PlantSmart user who had the same plant but a different indoor setup.. a mobile app would have been perfect.
Plant Library lookup similar to the web site.. I’m picturing someone at a nursery choosing a plant using your library to help determine which one would be most appropriate.. It would be nice to use the readings history to give an estimate of how well suited the plants are to the conditions in the individual’s garden.
On the mobile Plant Care page it would be nice to have the N-P-K fertilizer recommendation(s) so users could use the mobile app to help select the appropriate fertilizer while they are at the store.. you could even do some sort of partnership with a producer to recommend specific branded products. Maybe have a coupon which would display on the screen?
