Mac Support?!?

So I just purchased an easyBloom for my wife from Amazon, and it will be here in a day or two... ...but despite being listed as Mac compatible on Amazon, I now find that your Mac software is "coming soon"?!? When will it be available? I want to be able to use the product the day it arrives, but it looks like I'm not going to be able to. This really isn't a good start!

Hi Daniel - first - thank you for purchasing our product. We explained to Amazon that we would be in BETA at launch and we are working on getting the verbage changed on the product page on their web site. I apologize and we in no way want to be misleading on that point. Whe you receive the packaging you will see a rather large sticker that points out we don't currently support MAC. If you are interested in getting an early release of the software, please sign up online - we should have it out before the end of the year if not sooner. Hey Dan, not sure what type of Apple setup you have, but if your on a newer mac, try running windows on your mac through parrells or bootcamp.. Easybloom should work through that..
I'm also really upset about this. At the time I purchased from Amazon, the listing said that there was Mac support. Yes, there is a sticker on the box that says Mac software available in 2009, but I would have rather found that out BEFORE laying out this much money on a product. Cali K, you're saying we should pay for Windows (you have to buy Windows in order to run Boot Camp or Parallels) to use a $60 product that we were told would run on Mac? I'm excited about this product--I preordered the day I saw it in Popular Science--but I feel like my experience is already off to a bad start.

I am also upset that is does not work on my Mac as listed on the box!
I just saw the small print on the bottom right side of the box and I will try it again in 9 more days.

I also bought mine from Amazon back in November and was very disappointed about the Mac support. I just downloaded the BETA version of the Mac software (I had my address on the list to receive the update, but never heard anything. I just thought I'd check back tonight and it's been there since Dec.) In any case, I am unable to get the EasyBloom to Recommend Mode. When I choose this option it sets itself to Water Mode. The other modes work fine - but I bought it for the Recommend feature. Bummer. Anyone else with this issue? Are there any workarounds or is this a BETA issue?
