Is it possible to take multiple readings while in recommend mode, without uploading data between readings? For instance, if I place the device in location A, start data collection, and then hit the stop button after 24 hours, can I move it to location B and start data collection there for another 24 hours? If there are two "start-stop" cycles on the device when I upload, what does EasyBloom do with that data? Ignore one set, or allow me to name and interpret both sets? The FAQ only addresses this situation by stating that if you accidentally hit stop before a full 24 hours of data is collected, then hitting start again will not help because EasyBloom requires a continuous data set. Thanks!

Hi Bartley, Great question! I'm going to try to answer by first explaining how the sensor data is handled. EasyBloom looks at light, temperature, and humidity data in terms of a 24-hour cycle. Regardless of the number of times you press the start and stop button during deployment, EasyBloom will map all this data on a 24-hour grid. If it has enough data to make an accurate depiction of the 24-hour cycle of that location, it will give recommendations based on this data. Soil data is a little different, since it does not operate on a 24-hour cycle. But again, all of it is used together in the same reading. So you can upload multiple sampling intervals from the same location, and EasyBloom will make correct recommendations as long as it has enough data. To get recommendations for multiple locations, you will have to upload your data before you move the sensor each time, otherwise it will lump all the data together. Does that answer your questions? Also (since we love to hear feature ideas from our customers!) would you like a feature where you could collect data from multiple locations without plugging in the sensor in between? Thanks! ~MattE

I would love to have a sensor that could collect data from multiple locations. What a time savor it would be, place the easybloom in one plant and then do another right away, how great would that be.
Barbara, Do you want multiple sensors, so that you can put them in multiple places, and get all the readings at the same time? Would you pay a few more bucks for each additional sensor? Or is it that you have multiple plants that are in close proximity that you want to monitor at the same time? Thanks. As product manager, it really helps me to know how you plan to use this.. Thanks for sharing!
