Technical Help » Easy Bloom not working
Hi Eleanor, I wrote to you back in August with my suggestion, but never heard back. Sorry to hear you're still having trouble with our product! The symptoms you've described are not detailed enough for me to know exactly what is wrong.. Please write back to me at support@plantsense.com with the following information, so I can better assist you in resolving this promptly! 1) Does the sensor respond in any way when you push the Start/Stop button? 2) Does the sensor LED respond in any way upon plugging the sensor into your computer's USB port? Thank you for bearing with us. Regards, Noam / EasyBloom Support
After upgrading the software, as recommended, my Easy Bloom does not chime. NOR does it give me any information. I re-installed the Easy Bloom software on my "flower" as you suggested and also on my computer. THIS STILL DOES NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM---I have a non-working piece of plastic with a light that blinks at me!!! ANY MORE SUGGESTIONS on how to solve this problem??? Thanks, Eleanor Quigley

A suggestion for a better user experience would be to mention the issue of fast soil drainage to the monitoring results. I reset my EB a couple times thinking it was a bug when maybe I could have learned right away that the soil is draining too fast. Forums are nice for asking questions, but they are only so-so at finding answers. But thanks for giving extra guidance.

We recommend you monitor a plant from watering it thoroughly, inserting the Sensor into the soil, until the EasyBloom CHIRPS that the plant needs water. Depending on the plant, this is between 3 days to 2 weeks. In normal use, a battery will last around four to six months.

Since it is recomended that a plant be monitored for 24 hours about how long will the average battery that goes in the unit last?

Hi Andrew, I've taken a look at your data on our backend. The reason you are seeing this message is that your sunlight readings do not jibe with the timezone corresponding to the zipcode you've registered on our site. Are you by chance using the sensor outside of the United States? I'm afraid EasyBloom does not work outside of the 50 US states. Regards, Noam / EasyBloom Support

Hi Support I bought a Easybloom over 1 month ago. Ive registered the unit successfully and have left it outside numerous times. I follow the website instructions, reset the unit to recommended mode and then i leave it outside for 24 hours. When i connect to my PC, it automatically detects the sensor, then launches a browser(firefox) and successfully uploads data to your site. Every time i click on recommendations, your site reports NOT ENOUGH DATA....PLEASE RESET EASYBLOOM AND LEAVE FOR 24HOURS! - What is the problem and what am i doing wrong? UPSET Andrew
