Plant Care

Plant seeds in the desired location during May-July.

Plant Growth:

Plant growth will vary depending on variety.

Blooming time will vary depending on the variety. The Z. angustifolia will bloom in 6 weeks from the time the seed has been planted and will continue into fall. The Z. grandiflora will bloom throughout spring and fall if it is watered.

Soil and Irrigation:

Zinnias require good garden soil and should be watered by watering the soil around the plant, not overhead.

When it comes time to fertilize the Zinnia, give it a liberal amount of fertilizer.
