Plant Growth:

Evergreen perennials and subshrubs. Does best with full sun. Forms tidy mounds of narrow, stiff evergreen leaves. Grows best in a rock garden or trough. Also works well at the front of a border.

Blooming:

Flowers in spring to early summer. Comes in several colors including white, pink, rose or red.

Soil and Irrigation:

Needs little to moderate water. Well-drained soils, poor to moderately fertile.

Pests:

Spider mites and aphids may cause problems. Plants may rot out in the center if exposed to high temperatures.
