Plant Care
Planting:

Sow seeds when ripe. Can also propagate from cuttings taken from shoots in summer before they have flowered.

Plant Growth:

Desert Roses are perennial succulents found in semi-arid regions. Grows best in full sun with some shade during the middle of the day.

Blooming:

Inconspicuous flowers are borne during the summer, sometimes before the leaves. Flowers are usually shades of red, pink, and white.

Soil and Irrigation:

Does best in slightly alkaline, well-draining soils that are humus-rich.

Fertilization:

During the growing season, implement a balanced liquid fertilizer about 2-3 times.

Pests:

Aphids are common during the flowering season. Overwatered plants are susceptible to basal rots.
